It is annoying that if it does not like your name, you lose the entire comment. Why can't there be spaces in the names, anyway?

This is netscape 4.76. The page is all white, with black and blue text and yellow stars, and with the logo on the top. The next line is 'MenuMainLogsDiscussionsBookmarksMume ClockUpload logStart DiscussionHelpAbout this siteSite'. The line after it is 'StatisticsTop ListsCreditsLinksRumours: 91'. Then there is the login box; the rest of the page follows. Every comment consists of two lines, which are flush left, with date, time, and name on the first, and comment on the second.

If you are going to say 'upgrade your browser', this is not always an option. Most useful websites work with pretty much any browser, so normal behaviour with netscape 4.x isn't really an impossibility, is it?

If it displayed properly, though, it would have been a really nice site.

I use mozzila and the site still shows up wrong. Surely it can't be that difficult to have input boxes that doesn't spill off the side of the outer blue box, or for the site not to be shifted 3 inches over so it goes off the right-hand side of the screen?

This site is very much reliant upon CSS, something which Netscape 4.76 does not support (Netscape 4.76 supports however very little).

Browsers which does not support CSS will still show the text, but formatted strangely. Thus you will be able to read logs, read comments, write comments, post logs and all that, but visually impaired.

The rightshift is actually meant. Many people complained when the log and discussionpages were not centered, but all others were, so now also they are centered, making a white band to the left. Lobbying might change that back.

Browsers not supporting CSS but will produce a readable page (and being able to post etc) include text-only browsers, such as links, lynx and such.

Well, I'm lobbying for that, it's really distracting when a log is squashed off the right-hand side of the screen. Even when you scroll over it's still hard to read, esp. with the boxes on the left spilling over.

Unknown, consider your lobbying successful. Testing logs being shown in a slightly different way.

1) Having 'Last two active discussions' link to all discussions looks slightly weird. How about 'last active discussions'? Same for logs.

2) Feature idea: log of the day (or week), as a way to recollect old logs and give credit for cool forgotten things to cool players. Change it every few days (or every week) by scavenging from people's bookmark lists and getting people's ideas. Would require maintenance which you may not want, but might be good for PR. If, by any chance, you like the idea, consider listing also former 'logs of the day'.

The primary links are in the menu to the left, those you mean are just extra links.

About log of the day, I'm not sure. Let's think about it.

So here I am, with Mozilla... Colours are nice, but some lines are longer than the boxes they are in, and some links and text before them merge with each other. :(

I can guess that the problem is with non-windows browsers, since fonts arent the same on all systems.

Tell me on which pages the problem is and I'll shorten them.

Ah, mandor, how do you get the actual tags in? I tried the ampersand gt thing but it got taken out. The preview made it look right but the resulting the post different to the preview... And are there any plans for the 'tt' tag for inline fixed-width bits?

I've never heard of the 'tt' tag, so you'll have to educate me. HTML has no such tag, as far as I know.

And why do you want to actually write <b>? You don't want the effect, but actually write just that?

You can type <wielded> and so on without using & lt; you know.

TT it's like pre, but you use it in the middle of the line so the text is in like the courier-new type font.

I don't exactly have any use for it, I'm just curious, and when I can't find something out I can't stop until I find it!
