I think there should be several check-boxes when you upload a log to say what sort of log it is. That way, if you wanted to search for particular types of logs or exclude them, you could do so.
There should be for instance a box to tick if your log is a linkless whine, so everyone else could ignore it.

That would actually be kinda neat. Its to bad the old logs couldnt have that flag, would be faster to search through all the logs, and some of those oldies are the best I think. 8p
