I have had a brilliant fight with Obie (which I logged on er).

Sometimes it can be hard to tell if you are linkless, especially if you die in one hit :P

I remember only one linkless PK death, was Shrit who killed me linkless before the gates of fnost :o) and even has it in his favourite adventure on ER *spit*

uhh no i have fought obie numerous times and i dont die in 1 hit we have a ok fight he killed my friend i had war points on me so did sachin and then i go linkless sachin is sitting next to me so i see wats going on and plus my history. i dont kill linkless thats cheap i wait till they re log

Sepha, you have no business by by no at level 11 unless you are spamming past it to get to Rd or bree. Trust me, you're wasting time trying to PK at such low levels. I got more xp soloing my bear in the vale as a lowbie than I did PKing, and when i pked as a lowbie, I was generally with Griand/Care/Beowar/Dann, who were all fairly good at noc pk. also, this was when bear was new, and orcs would blidly go up from monitor, not expecting there to be a couple bears waiting.

get a good weapon, maybe a legend weapon from a bear who pks an orc, then get some metals or even just ringmail, and xp in vale till the xp starts to max out, then get a mount and some ride, and some sumer day, go from village(or vt if puke) to RD, then Rd to bree and xp west till atleast hero. As fun as you may think lowbie bear pk is, you're really just wasting time.

That begs the question, if it's fun, is it a waste of time? Does he need to level up if he's enjoying playing at his current level?

ahh i am level 12 actually and obie i see you and get into fights with you alot usually i get away but that one time i had points like this "you have been in some skirmishes with the dark lord" you did kill me linkless. And i dont die in 2 hits more like 12. and i do plan to level up a bunch right now im just having fun

Tip for levelling a bear: Don't go to NOC/Vale until level 26 unless you want to be stuck in the mid-20's for about the rest of your natural born life. At 26 (or at least something close to that) you can xp vale/noc and get nice xp, especially with someone who knows the area. It's not too hard to get five or six levels fairly quickly in between bouts of pk. *ROAR*
