Where can you get a Ornate and a Engraved Broadsword, if anyone wants to tell me, please give a tell to Agarnon. Please dont post any smart alic remarks, in plain dont be dumb, please.

Engraved Broadsword Loads at Bloodwright and Ornate hammer loads in Moria.

Both load in PK too, and PK is often the easiest way to get them. ;)

Engraved broadsword is only marginally better than chanted broadsword. So use it if it falls into your lap but dont bother spending time on it.

Enchanted broadsword, and enchanted heavy star do the same job too and takes only few gold and 2 chants to get ://

eng bs is always 10 pb and eff vs spiri, maxchanted broad sword isnt eff vs spirit, and only 9 db,a nd thats only when wimpy (not tha many people would go aggro using eng bs). dunadan is just more parr than longsword, heavy star is 2nd in damage only to onrate, but slow, and -alot of pb.

If you're a caster, a chanted eket or broadsword is all you'll need for the most part, since other than eng bs, the only thins better is a glowstick and curved sword (darkie item).

I haven't id'ed claymor,e but i hear it's like the slasher's version of SSM.

Ps. IMO, bastard sword is crap. Sure, it's higher dmg than longsword, but lower ob, and slow as hell, so if you're fighting low abs targets (most mobs), then bastard sword isnt the way to go.

Yeah, but bastard sword rocks for hit-fleeing strong mobs when you're at low level. ;)

Hm, isnt bastard sword good for slasher in hitflee-fight? or hunting down fleeing? I mean, i would carry one as def-war.

When you're low level, that lack of OB the bastard sword has hurts though. Longsword gives 5 more, and when your ob is 70-90 in aggro, 5 ob means alot more than 2-3 more dmg a hit sometimes.

Sogard, stop being clueless. I've exped up lowbies... have tried with bastard and with longsword. Bastard wins hands down. There's even no real "competition moment" which sword to use. And this despite the more ob or whatever.

ANdrog, most things tha can be hit-fled effectively with a bastard sword, don't need to be unless it has other mobs in the room, or you don't bash.

I also didn't say there's some competition, I was going by personal prefernce, now stop being a dumb twat, and quit trying to put words in my mouth. I find using a longsword tends to be more effective when dealing with stronger mobs as a lowbie, period, end of discussion. If you don't know what an opinion is, I suggest you go sterilize yourself so that you don't spread your idiocy.

Nah I'd go for un-chanted. You'd get less pb/ob but more damage which balances the weapon better.

My opinion frankly is that iron-shod mace does wonders. Thats just my opinion, I feel the handling of the weapon is really nice. In a fight, its only when I use iron-shod do I feel I've reached my full fighting potential, while other warriors prefer an ornage or perhaps even Huge Black Mace if they ever had one, the iron-shod mace is MY weapon of choice. If you wanna argue with that I recommend you fucking kill yourself because you're an ignorant moron.

where does claymore load? or how?, and what are stats on it?

Claymore is a rohan item, i believe someone posted stats on it for me when I asked the same question, but forget the thread(probably the rohan one).

Use of a claymore has made me think of it as sorta the SSM for slashers, granted SSM is easier to get (if you're a puke).
