On this day i died in a raid against trolls in old fornost i kept going back no one would really help legends fleed and scattered to safer places like gh while i kept going back to retrive my eq and others and becuase no one helped my corpse and others were at least one of the following : scalped spiked or eatten..... of my eq i found where the trolls were camping i found one of my weapons and a bunch of weapons and a bunch odds and ends nothing of real use.... i left lorien with the idea that people helped each other no matter who they were or where they are just to defend bree i left lorien to find people were rude would not help you recover your eq or reeq in fact most of the time leaveing folk in dangerous places and leaveing them behind saying good luck and have fun what happened to people helping each other look at what has happened to us the darkies walk over us because they know most pukes wont lift a finguer to help another person in need if we cant keep bree from being raided for a week then what hope is there for us pukes? and what happened to playing fairly and honourably? i see people makeing traps to hold other players in rooms to kill them wheres the challenge in that or the honur? can any one say they had enough backbone and valor to wait for a player from the the other side of the war come a recover his eq after beating him i would because it not what is right its fair. we gripe about the darkies and what they do well why not show them we are better then they think by giveing them their eq back and telling them good try better luck next time. if any one has read this in full congrats there is hope for people

Not sure what level you are but:

if you are lowbie why bother going back to get corpse if you know there is a raid?

when there is a raid, xp elsewhere

if there aren't enough people willing to defend cities, why bother?

You're a newbie who obviously hasn't played long enough to know that MUME isn't about fair fights. MUME is about how much friends you have, how much eq you have, what levels you have, and how good your link and/or skill is. And about giving their eq back, what the fuck? Do you know how fucked in the head the management is? I guess you want hours lost from xping.

I was brought up on fair honest values and as for me walking back to where the raid was getting killed again and again its a matter of principal I know my ass is dead in 2 hits i know i am going to lose xp xp i can regain xp does not bother me in the least and for future reafernce i am level 12 currantly and cant get past level 14 with out some thing killing me and when i reach level 14 i die then after finding my corpse looted by people who had joined me to xp i die again and in those 2 deaths i am knocked back down to 12 some xp does not concern me as for returning eq the game is hard enough with out being killed and then being looted of all your things and it would show that some one in this so called "war" actually can be civil to other "people"..... on another note from what i have heard we were a great a powerful army us pukes hell i was even told groups of level 5 would rally together to defend bree now when theres a raid on bree legends run no one comes even if the last person in bree is alive and badly hurt about to bleed to death no one comes which proves my belife that mankind will destory its self over something as stupid as some one farted at a statue hell wars were started over less "shocking" things i swear what ever happened to the honest gamers the ones that were fearless and willing to help out some one no matter the risk? and heres something to think about if i should look up to legends as role models of how to play "fairly" then does that mean the game basicly has one real point as we are already doomed?

Dude that's why people are called heros. Because if everyone had the same courage and integrity as they did, they'd just be called people. People are weak, 99% of people, in the event that they are drowning, would drown someone else trying to save them just to get another 30 seconds of oxygen in their lungs. Think about it.

Don't look for honour or fairness during raids. Get to legend level and start searching for 1vs1 fights. If you fight fair you'll see that most ppl actualy don't spamloot you and wait for rekill or whatever bs you might think.
In MUME ppl act worst in groups.
