Stats for a man scout that will have good % in thief skills, but will alow you to also have a deasently fast bash. let me know what you fellas think about bashing scouts and weather or not they are worth it or not.

I have heard of bashing orc scouts, but not of bashing man/elf/hobbit scouts. Also, you need about level 50 for that to work efficiently, as far as I know. I reckon you would be better off creating ordinary man scout. However, elves and hobbits are the usual scout races in MUME because of their increased dexterity... I suggest you'd choose from two of them and when you have legended that one, then move on to creating a bashing orc scout. Tarkhnarb for beginning ;)

Yeah right, bashscouts can work at legend if you got the right stats.

Bashscout has worked at level 23 for me, Tarkhnarb, Zaugurz, and Human. It just depends on how you practice it. You certainly don't need level 50+ to make it work. Level 25 helps, but even that ain't needed if you know what to do. Imo bashing hobbit scout better than man. You can get 14 str, 17 con, 18 dex per on hobbit while keeping decent int wil wis etc. Of course, orcs work even better with their con/str bonus.

bashing works at low legend lvls if u get high % in it (71%+) wich combined with nice endurance/parry will drop yar scout % 2 much. I'd rather keep a balance between those 3 and scout % so i can get def/hps/moves and moveregen + somewhat ok bash...once u get higher lvl yar lower bash % will start working bether

61% bash usualy works ok vs aggro enemies (not defwhores) or vs those naked bns :P ...and u really dont need bash wimpy enemies when u have whole lot of other methods to bring them down

ohh..and dont u even think about bashing doors as scount :P u need 18+ str and quite high bash to make this work efficiently...

hmm...str plays a big role in yar "bashing abillities" so u might only consider getting bash if u have 15+ base str :P

Warlorded 13 str man bashscout, got about 60% inbash. Yeah though, never expect to bash wimpy enemies. Door bash HAS actually worked for my orcscout once in a huge trap *frolic*, but other than that, bash is (for me) mainly used to finish off low warriors/mages.

Orc scout bash is just as good as any combo's, with good dex but low wil.

basher need nice will especialy if you cant have nice str (elves , hobbits) lothlori is bashin thief (70% in bash 70% parry 60% endurance some in stabbing weapon plust block door with decent stab % on 103 - all this warriors skill add me extra hp now on 330 hp - not bad as elf, hmm level only 40, but as some people mentioned good stated and practed char works on lev 25 with 70% bash and as puke with at least 105% sneak/stab

actualy 102% is all u need in sneak/stab for pk :) and will doese crap for yar stab :P i'd spend those creationpoints for str instead of will anyday..not worth getting minwil+2 no mather what kind of scout u are...i guess some ppl ejoy some high wil scout wich dont go down so fast when eatting spells but who's dumb enuf to eat spells anyhow? and is there a scout on whole arda that cant take down a mage/shaman with ease?
