Does the sanc damage reduction go through before calculating armour? IE if cap is 15, and you are hit by a 50 hp fireball, with (say) 60% armour up, does it go:

50 dam *0.6 armour = 30 hps damage, then sanc -> damage is 15?

Or is it 50 hp fireball, 15 sanc cap, so 50 dam -> 15 dam, 15dam *0.6 armour = 9 damage?

60% Armour would mean 60% absorbed, not allowed through.
50 dam-(50*.6 ABSORBED), or 50*(.4 NOT ABSORBED)=20 damage.

Yes yes, but does the armour have effect before or after the sanc cap?

Sanc cap is not affected by armour... Only exception is earthquake.

eh?

So suppose your sanc cap is 15. I hit you with a 50 hp fireball. Only 15 hp go through. Then armour absorbs 60%. So you only take 6 damage?

Or.

Your sanc cap is 15. I hit you with a 50 hp fireball. Armour absorbs 60%. 20 hp go through. Sanc reduces this to 15. You take 15 damage?

You take 150 damage, because the "Dain Bug" multiplier multiplies it by 10, causing you to eat more than usual. This is a known bug but please report it and we'll ignore it as usual.

First armour spell, then sanctuary...makes sense ;)

Either test or just be a fucking man and do the freaking test yourself... first with only armour up and then with armour/sanc up and then sanc only
