How does one play MUME from work, when any address with pvv is restricted? I've tried everything posted under Faints thread on ER and none of them have worked. Any ideas?

i kind of had the same problem. what i did was download putty, connect to a shell of some sort (i used mizar.lod.com) that i could put powwow onto and connect to mume from there. so i ssh to the server, run powwow, connect to mume.
problem is mizar sucks and i dont have the problem anymore so if you do that fine a different company

Well, I just read that my work does not tolerate connecting to any other computer for gaming or anything else for that matter. So....back to work I go!
