Something is wrong with my Internet connection, causing very high ping times and very low upload speeds.
This site will always be accessible here, but slowly.
But there is light at the end of the tunnel. I've just had a 10mbit connection put in (10mbit in, 10mbit out) (I can get 100/100mbit if I want, but it's a bit more expensive (around 60 euro per month, I'll probably go for 10/10)) so whenever the contract and all that stuff is written, the site will be very much quicker. Maybe I'll allow pictures and other peripheralities.

The sluggishness of the site
I've noticed that there was a screw screwed through the phone cable into my apartment. The same cable which Internet comes and goes through. This cable is inside my hallway wall, so it wasn't easy to hit it.
I removed the screw (and glued the mirror to the wall instead) and suddently my ping is in the 4000-8000ms range. I'll have the cable removed as soon as I can get my hands on the correct tools (like a 20m wiredragging feeder).
I'll have it replaced sometime tonight, I hope. Until then - suffer.

Hardware change
Ok, the fabled hardware change will happen sometime before noon on the 8th of september.
Workers will be coming in to rewire my outlet, so I have no direct control of the times.
